I started my real estate company in 2000 in my Upper West Side apartment, a tiny 5th floor walk-up. I called it then “Central Place Realty.” My first business meetings were conducted at Starbucks to hide the fact that I had no real office at the time. I sometimes even answered the phone with a high-pitched voice as though I had a secretary before I “transferred” the call to myself. That was as unscrupulous as I am able to be.
As my wife, Yael, later joined me, and since moving to this address in 2004, our company has bloomed into a fast-track full-service real estate firm, where a growing number of sellers, buyers, property owners and renters place their trust for their diverse real estate needs. The company's meaningful relationships continue to generate countless referrals, repeat business, and loyal clients who become life-long friends.
It was a group decision to rename the company BARAK Realty. The name Barak means “lightning” and that's how bright we feel about the future. I am proud to have my name on this door. And we are delighted to open this door to you.
I am happy to introduce you to BARAK Realty, the company with brokers who work together as a team in a way that no other realty company works. We believe in our boutique concept and strive to promote creativity, teamwork and personal relationships, while eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy. As BARAK Realty replaces Central Place Realty, we dedicate ourselves anew to diligence, honesty, respect and success. We look at properties not only as investments, but as places our clients call “home” and that’s why we make the promise to them all, We'll see you home.
Sincerely yours,
Barak Dunayer, President
BARAK Realty
